My husband and I had a blast with the Arthur Murray team in White Plains! We took a few lessons to prep for our first dance (I have a dance background; he does not). We had our first dance song already picked out, they taught us a few steps in rumba, foxtrot, and swing (and a dip, duh). While we did not want to have our dance fully choreographed, we were set up with the fundamentals and timing to give ourselves the space to enjoy what we learned. Our first dance felt like a recital; our guests truly enjoyed it! The lessons were partially a wedding gift from someone - it was a charming date night amidst the planning process. I would absolutely consider gifting lessons for any couples in the future.

My husband Joe and I came here to create and learn a choreographed dance routine for our wedding. We started out as two shy dancers with two pairs of left feet. After working with their incredible teachers, especially Andrea (she is amazing!!!), our confidence grew and we had so much fun learning our routine! On our wedding day, our dance went perfectly and we enjoyed every minute. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much!!

etely clueless when it came to dancing, I never imagined that after just a few lessons we would master some of the basic progressions. Our instructor, Stephan, was extremely professional and approached every lesson with a level of enthusiasm and dedication that made it memorable and easy to understand. He even took the extra time needed to ensure that we were 100% comfortable with all of the progressions and cadences, and choreographed a beautiful Rumba dance to the song we selected for our first dance. By the end of our lesson plan, we had not only mastered our dance, but we also had the pleasure of learning additional dance styles such as the Swing and the Hustle. We were also given access to Arthur Murray's Friday night dance parties, which were so much fun! Our friends and family were blown away by our first dance, and we owe it all to Arthur Murray! Major Kudos goes out to Stephan, Laz, Jolene, and the entire AM crew. Thank you all!!
